**Factory Supervisor**
The ecologyst Factory Supervisor is responsible for ecologyst Factory operations.

Key Responsibilities: *
- Supervise, coordinate, and plan the activities of personnel who process and manufacture têxtile products
- Set example for operators as lead operator
- Order equipment and supplies
- Adjust machinery and equipment as required.
- Quality control and manufacturing efficiency
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards
- Hire, train, and develop sewing machine operators
- Establish work methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work with other manufacturing partners or departments
- Calculate how many sewing machine operators are required - based on 100% efficiency per operation and per style on orders cut and bundled in order to meet daily quotas.
- Create and Review the factory schedule daily and plan production accordingly
- Assign the appropriate operators with matching skills to appropriate tasks
- Regularly update operators on how many units per hour and per day are required for 100% efficiency
- Perform quality checks on each operator in your department throughout the day
- Solve work-related problems and recommend measures to increase productivity.
- Ensure all quality issues are addressed and make corrections for improvement
- Follow through with training for each operator to ensure they have a clear understanding of how to perform the operation with acceptable
- Prepare manufacturing reports for management.
- Review the approved production sample and specifications before beginning production for each released purchase order
- Provide a safe and tidy environment within the department and manufacturing floor
- Communicate ecologyst core values to the team
**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:
- Must be able to deal effectively with diverse groups of workers
- Must be familiar with sewing machine operations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritize and operate proactively, handling issues in a calm and professional manner
- Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time
