As a **Production Technician** you will help assemble and test our movers (permanent magnets), stators (electromagnets) and other associated hardware.

**Duties Include**
- Assembling hardware (~40% of working hours)
- Operating and maintaining equipment used in assembly (~10%)
- Quality Assurance on incoming components (~20%)
- Testing finished products (~10%)
- Packaging finished products (~15%)
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment (~5%)
- Follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Ask questions
- Have excellent manual dexterity
- Expect high levels of quality from their work
- Have good written and spoken English-language communication skills
- Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

**Assets That Might Set You Apart Include**
- Experience working with fasteners, epoxies, solder, or other assembly techniques
- A diploma or degree from a technical institute or college in a field related to mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Work experience in an assembly environment

**More About the Job**

You will be part of the production team, reporting to the production manager. Certain duties may require personal protective equipment such as gloves or a respirator; this PPE is provided. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with start and end times being flexible. We are located in Richmond, BC; the position is not remote.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
