**The Position**:
Installing, constructing, troubleshooting electrical systems in accordance with the CEC. The position requires active listening, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills. The applicant must be willing to continue to learn to advance in industry proficiency and skill. Collabortaing with a team to provide quality installation and exceptional service to clients is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install electrical circuits, panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment
- Install, alter, repair and maintain a wide range of electrical equipment for safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation
- Lay out circuits, set up breaker and panel boxes, and install fixtures and lights as well as other electrical equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications
- Tests electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
- Installs repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and lighting
- Preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment) under the supervision of journeyman electrician.
- Complies with standards and procedures of industry, Safety Manual, and abide by safety rules
- Participate in job site safety
- Properly maintaining all paperwork, policies and procedures.

- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Must have own hand tools.
- Must work safely and conform to all mandatory PPE and safety requirements
- Must be able speak and write in English.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Must keep a clean work environment.

**Certifications and Qualifications**
- Valid Electrical Trade Certification
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Fall Protection
- Ariel Lift
- CSTS-09
- Must have own tools
- First Aid is an asset
