Event Operations Representative

**Purpose**:
The Event Operations Representative is responsible for providing administrative and logístical assistance to the Manager, Event Operations in the staging of assigned Athletics & Recreation (A&R) events, equipment availability and placement and supporting operational Services. Works with the Manager in ensuring the effective execution of all game day operations for assigned Varsity EventsThe principal focus of the role is to provide exemplary support services to assigned Varsity Athletics event competitions as it relates to all aspects of event administration, logistics and execution with accountability for achieving and maintaining the highest standards for the staging of events. The position will have overall responsibility for all operations relating to the logístical requirements for the execution of the assigned events as per the Service Level Delivery model document. This will include preliminary event set-up requirements, event execution and event strike. The Representative is responsible for the coordination, implementation and execution of activities required for Game Day Presentation at assigned events. This position reports to the Manager, Event Operations. This position requires commitment and adherence to the values and principles of Athletics & Recreation as expressed in the mandate of the department.

**Education**:
Successful completion of a secondary school program or equivalency. Completion of some post secondary courses would be an asset. First Aid and CPR certifications are required.

**Experience**:
Two years' related experience in an event environment in sport and recreation (facilities, operations, maintaining sports equipment, etc.). Some exposure to supervisory experience required.
