**Responsibilities
- **Facility Maintenance**: Ensure the cleanliness of production floors, workstations, and surrounding areas by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
- **Waste Disposal**:Collect, sort, and dispose of scrap metals, chemicals, and other industrial waste in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- **Support Production Team**:Assist with minor tasks such as transporting materials, cleaning equipment, and organizing workspaces.
- **Chemical Spill Response**:Assist in cleaning up minor chemical spills and reporting larger spills or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- **Tools and Equipment Care**:Clean and maintain tools, ensuring they are stored properly and ready for use.
- **Safety Compliance**:Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- **Documentation**:Keep records of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance needs or hazards to supervisors.

**Education and Certifications
- Must be a current student enrolled in high school, trade school, or a post-secondary institution.

**Qualifications
Prior experience in an industrial setting is a plus, but not required. This role provides training and exposure to the steel pickling process.
- **Basic Understanding of Safety Procedures**:Knowledge of basic industrial safety practices is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- **Physical Ability**: Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in a noisy, industrial environment.
- **Team Player**:Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- **Attention to Detail**:Must be diligent in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
