Warehouse Team Member/ Forklift Operator

**Stone Tile International is looking for a Forklift Operator in the GTA to join our dynamic team**

We are continuously looking for the best and most promising individuals to join our tightknit and unique team. Stone Tile is currently looking to fill one (1) Forklift Driver position to support our day to day receiving, storing, documenting, and delivering needs throughout the GTA.

**What will you do?**

The Forklift Operator role has many diverse and interesting responsibilities, the primary ones are outlined below:
v Responsible for safe operation of counterbalance and reach trucks.

v Use of a scanner to complete orders, scanning to pick and deposit to locations.

v Communicate and collaborate with the receiving team.

v Take received product from receiving areas to identified locations.

v Loading and unloading products in a safe manner.

v Upon request: assist packing, wrapping, and labeling of outbound shipments.

v Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse, focusing on you assigned work area.

v Other duties as required.

**What type of experience and skills do you have?**

v 3+ years experience in a related position

v Valid Forklift certification, refresher training and coaching will be provided.

v Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.

v Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

v Goal oriented and self directed.

v Clear Criminal Background Check.

**What is considered an asset?**

v Certified Counterbalance forklift operator.

v Knowledge of workplace safety policies and procedures.

v Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.

v Ability to lift 50 pounds.

v Ability to stand, walk and operate a forklift for majority of shift.

v Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.50 per hour
