**Warehouse Associate**
**POSITION OVERVIEW**
Our company is looking for a warehouse associate with forklift driving licence and experience. We are located in North York at Finch & Dufferin.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Assist with loading & unloading of items delivered to warehouse
- Operating a forklift
- Use of tools including but not limited to carts, hand trucks and dollies
- Staging and sorting of items, palletizing and crating
- Move, pick, pack and scan items in a safe manner
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Occasional customer interaction
- Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate fashion
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of warehouse experience
- Licensed to drive forklifts with 1 or more years of experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and assist other personnel with heavier loads
- Fluency with speaking, reading and writing in English
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to detect the presence of a quality issue
- Must be punctual and flexible to work occasional overtime including weekends
- Truck driving capabilities & license is an asset
- Knowledge of inventory software is an asset
**WE OFFER**:
- Wages: $18-22/hour
- Hours of work: 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. during Covid19)
