This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and takes daily direction from the Digital Print Specialists. This is a full time day shift role with paid overtime as required.
**Education, Skills and Competencies Required**:
- Secondary School Graduate Diploma required
- 1+ years of warehouse experience
- Experience with digital printers, paper cutters, coaters & laminators, as asset
- Requires basic knowledge of Word & Excel
- Good understanding of colour matching and the ability to pass a colour test
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good data entry, measurement, inventory and math skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as required
- Strong problem solving / root cause analytical skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability and willingness to learn graphic design concepts and programs (ie: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Fusion Pro)
- Self-motivated, self-directed, goal oriented, and well organized individual who is comfortable working independently and who can handle and drive multiple deadline projects simultaneously in a fast pace environment
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships and receive constructive feedback in a positive manner
- Must be able to work without supervision and in a team environment
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all orders are printed and assembled to the highest possible standards
- Pick and pack per customer order requirements
- Receive and putaway inventory in warehouses as required
- Assemble orders per work order specifications
- Ability to size, crop and colour correct images
- Operate and maintain specific production equipment to the highest standards.
- Monitor and maintain kanban levels of raw materials required for printing, assembly and shipping of orders
- Perform inventory counts and data material management, die maintenance and care
- Perform quality tests and inspections to ensure customer orders meet all quality standards
- Perform monthly preventative maintenance of equipment as assigned
- Assist Digital Print Specialist as required
- Provide support in project work, other special requests and duties as assigned
- Consistently work in a safe manner concerning self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems
- Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal incorporating 5S standards within the operations and other areas as required
