**Why this role is significant**
As a Sushi Cook, you play an important role in preparing delicious and consistent sushi and sashimi items, leaving guests satisfied and eager to return. You will work independently but play a critical role in contributing to the overall guest experience with our sushi offerings. You bring a deep understanding of Japanese culinary techniques, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**A day in the life**
- Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other sushi items.
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area.
- Work closely with other colleagues to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve sushi menu offerings.
