**Position is available for fiber drop technicians to joint team.**

This is great opportunity for people who like to be independent in the field.

**Responsibilities**:
Contact customer prior to drop placement.

Place aerial or underground drop from the NAP / MPT to the house or business.

Connect drop end to assigned port.

Streep and Coil drop in customer's NID, (place new NID if required)

Place multiple fiber drops for (duplex / lane house) if required and connect at MPT.

Label drop with house's number and leave site clean.

Update TELUS record with customer's MPT / NAP and port #
- **Requirements**:
Must provide your own vehicle (**white minivan, truck or ladder truck as well as own tools**).

Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.

Be willing to learn and adapt to changes.

Must have GST, WCB, Incorporation and Liability Insurance.

Must be able to use hands tools such as voltage detector, drill.

Must be able to follow safety rules and practices.

Must be able to climb 28 ft ladder and poles and work in confined spaces

**Compensation is 100%-piece work**

FREE TRAINING is provided for right applicants.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:
