If you are attracted to bold goals, believe in uncompromising honesty, support mutual respect, care about environmental responsibility, have a passion for excellence and a desire to make a positive contribution - then we want you to join the Husky Technologies team Set up, install, test, evaluate and offer suggestions for corrective actions on Molds and the entire injection molding system **Responsibilities** - Test and perform advanced troubleshooting of any type of injection molding equipment and/or machine according to customer specifications while responding to customer inquiries. Distinguish the different aspects of the operation (break down of cycle time) - Work with Engineering, Inside Sales and customers to resolve problems - Involved in the initial release of newly developed products/options. Offer suggestions for improved product design - Complete testing documentation. Assist in the preparation of procedural documentation and checklists, gather performance data and keep test records. Critique part design, determine the difficulty of the plastic part design and predict the areas of improvement for part design - Review quality and troubleshoot defects. Drive continuous improvement projects - Manage extremely complex projects (i.e. new product line) without supervision and provide guidance and leadership to other Test Technicians working on projects - Interact with customer regularly, at all times; respond to more critical customer issues; visit customer site when required - Transfer and share knowledge with other team members. Train new team members, customers or service reps. Lead by example and teach junior team members to correctly test the equipment. Travel to customer sites for setup and testing which can also include R&D testing at the customer's facility. Complete simple repairs and retrofits on the machine **Qualifications** - Advanced machine knowledge. Is the technical guru, the "go to" expert - Advanced knowledge of plastics processing and injection molding machines - Able to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings and write technical reports - Able to solve electrical problems - College diploma or completion of Certified apprenticeship program in relevant field and/or relevant work experience - Approx. 5+ years' experience as a tester in injection molding industry and/or relevant work experience Husky Technologies offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
