**Position Available**: Driver

Go green NATS Nursery is seeking a Full-Time Driver (with shipping/nursery work when available) for our Shipping Department to join our team of plant-enthusiasts who are positively shaping the world and future of the environment.

Located in Langley, BC, NATS was founded in 1988 and is the largest grower of native plants in BC for commercial/government landscaping, industrial reclamation sites, and habitat restoration. NATS is also the BC grower/distributor for LiveRoof, a modular green roof system for green infrastructure projects. Our nursery operates over 105,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse space on a total of 29.4 acres.

Reporting to the Shipping Manager, your responsibilities will include:
**Responsibilities**:

- Learning from and working with the Shipping Manager to help load trucks and deliver our plants to customers within the GVRD in a timely manner.
- Work with documents such as shipping pick-lists, bills of lading, etc.
- At times, work with shipping crew to prepare orders
- Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
- Report to Shipping Manager on activities and issues

**Skills & Experience**:

- Class 5 license required to drive our 1 and 5 ton trucks.
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift, bobcat, tractor experience and/or tickets an asset.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Problem solving abilities
- Aptitude to communicate well in English in written and oral form.
- Quick learner with ability and capacity to adapt to new plants, crops and situations.

**Compensation**:Subject to experience.

**Shifts**: Full-time Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
