**About the Job**:
Reporting to Senior Director of People & Culture, or their designate, the Casual Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of day-to-day activities within Atira. Leading the relief staff, this role oversees the coordination of relief assignments, manages employee inquiries, and facilitates communication between employees and managers. The Relief Manager handles time-off requests, provides feedback to relief employees, and ensures compliance with collective agreements and Atira policies. You are responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by addressing employee inquiries, providing support for payroll and scheduling issues, and facilitating communication between employees and managers, managing all relief employees to ensure that the appropriate amount of scheduling is taking place to support operational needs, handling time off requests from employees, including sick days, and approving them as per company policies, organizing relief staff meetings, managing the relief team, and coordinating relief staff assignments based on program needs, assisting Program Managers in finding relief staff when needed to maintain operational continuity across Atira programs, addressing disciplinary issues by leading investigations that could potentially lead to discipline, and providing employees with disciplinary letters when required, ensuring compliance with collective agreement terms, including addressing issues related to length of service and resolving discrepancies between employees and managers.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to organizational management, psychology, counselling, or social work.
- Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role, with a track record of effectively coordinating and supporting a team or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- First Aid and CPR certification and Naloxone certification required.
