**Motor Vehicle Body Technician responsibilities include**:

- Read and interpret vehicle damage reports
- Perform repairs according to the specified procedures
- Assess the extent of the damage and estimate repair costs
- Remove damaged body parts and replace them with new or repaired ones
- Weld replacement parts as needed
- Fill in insurance claims forms
- Keep abreast of new developments in vehicle body repair technology
