Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with cross-functional teams to maintain, update, and execute quarterly retail merchandising plans and calendars - on time, on budget, on strategy, and on brand- Creates and maintains store planograms, merchandising communications, and digital signage scheduling- Establishes and improves merchandising execution processes and standards- Accurately maintains a database of store merchandising details and photos- Manages vendors from engagement through execution (briefing, printing, shipping, installations, POs and invoicing)- Manages merchandising needs from individual stores (questions from the field, gathering photos when needed, issue management, etc.)- Manages all new store opening merchandising needs- Supports and inputs into new merchandising and in-store experience strategies- Partner closely with Brand team to ensure the visual presentation in our stores perfectly aligns with Cogeco’s desired image

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING- Bachelor’s degree in Retail, Marketing, Commerce, or related field strongly preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE- 7+ years of related experience required, ideally in retail stores both at frontline and head office levels- Retail marketing, merchandising, and/or store design experience strongly preferred- Experience in program and/or project management, specifically in successfully launching large and complex projects- Telecommunications experience is an asset- Prior experience with agile methodologies is an asset- Advanced PC skills including the ability to work proficiently in Google Workplace

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES-
- Highly resourceful and organized- Project management skills such as creating workback schedules, prioritization techniques, and budget management- Proven ability to communicate effectively at all different levels and across teams, scaling the approach as needed - both written and verbal- A continuous improvement mindset- Ability to delegate effectively with or without authority, with both internal cross-functional team and external suppliers- Bilingual (ENG/FR) is an asset
