**Job Opportunity: Home Daycare Teacher (1 Day per Week)**

We are seeking a **warm, loving, and patient** Home Daycare Provider/Teacher to join our small team and care for children one day per week, with potential for additional hours in the future (vacation coverage, extra days, etc.).

**About You**:

- You genuinely **love children** and enjoy getting down on the floor to play, teach, and nurture.
- You are **patient, kind, and nurturing**, with a calm and gentle approach.
- You are **punctual, reliable, and trustworthy**, and value open communication.
- You feel comfortable **putting children down for naps**, engaging them in light daily curriculums, and encouraging their early learning and development.
- You are happy to assist with **light cleaning, meal prep, and snack preparation** as part of your role.
- You enjoy working in a **small, supportive team environment**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and care for children in a safe, nurturing environment
- Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities and light curriculum to support their learning and development
- Comfort and soothe children, including putting them down for daily naps
- Prepare and serve snacks and light meals, following any dietary guidelines or restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in play and eating areas, including light cleaning tasks
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children’s progress and daily activities
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including maintaining CPR and First Aid certifications

**Requirements**:

- **Valid Vulnerable Sector Check** (or willing to obtain)
- **Current CPR and First Aid certification**:

- Experience working with children, either in a daycare setting or as a **nanny for one or more families**:

- Ability to commit to one consistent day per week (flexibility for extra days is a bonus)
