Canine Handler

We are seeking a responsible, professional Canine Handler to work with our certified bed bug detection dog in residential and commercial environments.
**Responsibilities**
You will work as a team with a specially trained bed bug detection dog to:
- Conduct inspections in homes, apartments, hotels, offices, and other facilities
- Safely handle and care for the detection dog on and off duty
- Accurately interpret and report the dog’s alerts to clients and supervisors
- Maintain training routines to keep the dog’s skills sharp
- Provide outstanding, professional customer service on-site
**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience working with dogs (professional or personal; working dog experience a plus)
- Comfortable working in varied environments (multi-unit housing, hotels, offices, etc.)
- Good physical condition and able to handle walking, stairs, and carrying light equipment
- Strong observation, communication, and record-keeping skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if driving company vehicle is required)
- Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed
