- Medical Office Assistants help with taking vital obs (BP, temperature, oxygen sats, etc) prior to seeing the patients
- Excellent low split
- The lead GP is a former UK GP who worked in the UK for almost 10 years in various specialties and as a GP in the UK for almost 5 years. During his time as a UK GP, he worked as a salaried GP, Locum GP both in GP practices and out of hours GP service as well as the clinical lead for the urgent care and NHS 111 in his region. He has found practising in Canada very fulfilling since his recent relocation and happy to help his colleagues transition practice seamlessly between the 2 countries for those who are keen to relocate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide primary medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
- Perform routine check-ups, physical examinations, and preventive screenings
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as needed
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (Telus CHR)
- Stay current with medical research and advancements in the field

**Experience**:

- Qualification as a Family Physician which is recognized by Ontario
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work independently and make sound medical decisions
- Dedication to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $300,000.00-$500,000.00 per year
