**Job Overview**:
Our customers on the Oomple platform are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join their client’s team in Ottawa, ON.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and ethical hacking techniques.
- Knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and systems administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are preferred.
- Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance preferred
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security risks.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to detect and respond to threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and implement security enhancements.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.
