We’re looking for **Truck Owner Operators** to transport RV’s from various locations in the US to our dealerships on Vancouver Island. Work as little or often as possible.

You’re in charge, so long as you expediently deliver after excepting a Trip Contract, your free to take on other work or priorities.

You’re free to decline trips but more offers will be made to contractors excepting and satisfactorily completing Trip Contracts.

Competitive rates fluctuating with fuel costs and USD exchange rate.

**Truck Requirements**:

- A 1 ton diesel truck
- 12,000lbs or larger solid shaft ball mount hitch with 2 5/16” & 2″ balls
- 16K or larger 5th wheel hitch
- Truck with BC registration for at least 26,000 lbs/ 11,000kg
- Your vehicle is properly insured for physical damage
- Annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Inspection or CVI
- Mud flaps no higher than 4in off the ground when loaded covering width of tires
- ¼ in coupler pin to lock a TT hitch in place
- Class 24 12v Deep Cycle Marine Battery
- Ratchet straps (1 inch) to secure battery
- Carabineer or D-ring to attach the breakaway cable to the truck
- Fire extinguisher - Class 5B:C mounted in cab and readily accessible
- Emergency triangles or flares - 3 minimum
- No bed side rails or headache racks
- Tow mirrors
- Smart cell phone, charging and holding devise, with Cnd & US data plan to be used with (ELD), as required by Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)
- All other equipment or safety items as required by local authorities in the jurisdictions to be traveled in.

**Driver Requirements**
- Clean BC drivers licence with less than 4 tickets with penalty points in the past 2 years and no criminal code convictions in the past 10 years
- Valid passport and ability to cross the border between Canada and the US as a commercial driver
- Class 1 or 3 BC Drivers licence or 4 or 5 with endorsement 20 or 7 to haul heavy trailers. If you require one of the endorsements you will also require a drivers medical exam, obtainable through ICBC and your doctor, to drive commercially in the US.
- Favourable insurance report from ICBC (Minimal at fault accidents)
- Ability to demonstrate safe hook up, towing, driving and backing of trailers and fifth wheels
- Experience with and correctly use ELD software on phone
- Own WCB Account/Number
