Groundskeeper - Seasonal

**Brannen Lake RV Park & Campsite (BLC)** is a family owned and operated campground nestled in the foothills of Mt. Benson in North Nanaimo. We are a hard-working team who thrive on ensuring our guests enjoy every minute of their stay with us. We’re looking for out-going, motivated and team-oriented individuals to join our awesome team this summer, and ideally, returning again next summer

We're looking for 3 people, starting as early as mid-April, and as late as end of May working a rotation (four days on, two days off). We have up to 40 hours per week through until Labour Day weekend (with the option of additional hours in September). We also offer a $1/hour bonus (for hours worked through the season) upon completion of your contract. This is the perfect summer job **Applicants must be available to work weekends.**

This role is not for the faint of heart You will be super busy with all things outdoors. Duties will include cutting grass, weed eating, site clean-up, raking our beach, cleaning washrooms, stocking firewood and overall maintenance of our campsite grounds. This position would be ideal for someone who loves the outdoors and working hard. Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, walking/standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 40 pounds.

**Preference will be given to applicants with**:

- Class 5 drivers license
- Experience in landscaping, outdoor labour, or property maintenance
- Experience with equipment such as ride-on lawn mowers, gas powered weed eaters, backpack blower, power washer, etc.
- Resume

Pay: $22.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
