Goodness Me is currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused, full-time The Good Kitchen Team Lead for our Cambridge store location.

**Your day-to-day**:
The Good Kitchen Team Lead will be responsible to lead and support the daily operations of The Good Kitchen Department alongside the Good Kitchen Department Manager, with a focus on great customer service, sales, and waste targets. If you enjoy a fast-paced, structured environment, this position may be a great opportunity for you.

**Other duties and tasks may include**:

- Monitoring staff performance and ensuring high levels of productivity are maintained
- Executing performance management conversations with team members
- Ensuring adherence to company and industry regulations
- Maintaining safety and food quality standards
- Motivating and inspiring team members and facilitating personal growth
- Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and returning customers
- Ordering, receiving, price changes, handling damaged products, and returns
- Participating in merchandising and promotional activities

**What you bring**:

- Previous food service/cook experience
- 1+ years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (shrink and inventory management, etc).
- A can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible availability mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends

**Licenses and Certifications**:

- A Food Handler’s certificate is strongly preferred.
