**Sales Team Supervisor**

**The Role**:
As a Sales Supervisor reporting to the Director of Sales, your main responsibilities will include providing day-to-day leadership to the Inside Sales and Customer Service teams. This will involve overseeing the daily operations of the team, setting clear expectations, delegating tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure that the team is meeting its targets.
You will be responsible for tactical planning to ensure revenue and training targets are met. This will require you to develop and implement plans to ensure that the team is meeting its revenue and training targets. You will need to analyze sales data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address them.
You will meet with team members in one-on-one and team environments regularly to provide ongoing coaching and support to help them achieve their goals. This will involve providing feedback and guidance, as well as identifying areas for improvement.
You will monitor and improve collaborative processes. This includes identifying areas for improvement and implementing new processes and tools as needed to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you will be responsible for delegating tasks to team members and monitoring their workloads to ensure that they are able to meet their targets without becoming overwhelmed or burnt out.
Finally, you will need to foster a positive and supportive departmental environment that encourages personal growth and development. This will involve providing opportunities for training and development, recognizing and rewarding team members for their achievements, and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Overall, as a Sales Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the Sales team. You will need to be a strong leader with excellent communication and coaching skills, as well as a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of sales and customer service operations.
***Overarching Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Supervise the CSR & Inside Sales teams.
- Chair team meetings, prioritize workloads ensuring deadlines and targets are met.
- Motivate, champion and support the team.
- Conduct regular sessions for coaching, feedback and performance evaluations.
- Tactical planning and execution in support of Sales strategies.
- Assess client feedback and critiques and determine escalation path.
- Improve inefficiencies between Sales department workflows.
- Quality control.
- Develop procedures (OBW) and ensure effective implementation and use.
- In-depth understanding of CRM for workflow development and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with TICO and T&Cs in internal and external communications.
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- Minimum of three years of sales and client service experience.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
- TICO certification.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience with database management and cloud-based technology is an asset
- Project Management certification
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A flexible self-starter who looks ahead and problem-solves.
- Available to support business and social events on occasional evenings and weekends in the Greater Toronto Area is preferred.
- Willing to travel on expeditions and other business travel.
- Personal commitments towards lifelong education and implementing the Truth & Reconciliation Commission’s calls to action are strong assets.
- A love for travel and familiarity with Adventure Canada’s expedition destinations is desirable.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
