Our Optical is looking for a Sales Associate to join our team.
The position is focused on interacting and guiding customers through their selection process.
We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and are seeking a full-time sales associate to work alongside our Optician and our Optometrists. We do not work on weekends.
In this position you will find yourself learning, growing, and interacting with a wide range of clients and with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Assist patients in the selection of frames and styles.
- Complete workorders, submit insurance claims, and contact customers.
- Collaborate with our Optometrist Office.
- Take pride in the appearance of store by keeping displays and inventory clean and organized.
We are looking for a Sales Associate with:
- 1+ years experience in retail or customer service;
- Familiarity with computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Fluent in English (Spanish is an asset);
- Ability to multi-task; and
- Ability to respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
This is a full-time position and requires a 40 hour / week commitment. We are currently not offering part-time positions.

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
COVID-19 considerations:
All surfaces are cleaned daily
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
