**Responsibilities**:
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service as per company standards, working with a Point of Sale (POS) system, generating wholesale and retail sales, display merchandising and general cleanliness and appearance of your store.

**In other words**:

- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service which includes greeting, acknowledging and consulting with every customer until they are satisfied.
- Maintain solid product knowledge and keep informed on the most current promotions and advertisements
- Assist in merchandising and maintenance of displays and store shelves, monitoring and replenishing stock, and receiving deliveries of fresh new must-have merchandise.
- Ask questions to determine customers' needs and make recommendations to connect the dots between your knowledge and their needs.
- Process cash/credit/debit purchases at register using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Adhere to all company policies per the employee manual and work to ensure integrity and loss prevention.
- Store opening/closing including beginning-of-day, end-of-day and cash-out procedures.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Customers required to wear a mask, commonly used surfaces are sanitized and curb side pickup is available.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- beauty or salon: 1 year (preferred)
- retail: 1 year (preferred)
