Production Lead

**Airfoam Industries Ltd **is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of sustainable, budget-friendly and environmentally conscious EPS building materials, geofoam and flotation solutions.

Our three manufacturing plants are located in British Columbia where we have seen great success. We are thrilled to announce that our newest plant is currently under construction in **Paris, ON **and will be up and running very soon.

We are searching for an experienced **Shipper Receiver** to support the successful coordination of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to our customers.

This is an exciting role for anyone looking for an opportunity to help support the development of processes within a brand new facility.

**DUTIES**:

- Safely and efficiently perform all shipping and receiving activities, warehouse, and storage areas as per standard operating procedures.
- Operate the forklift and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily forklift inspection checklist before use.
- Report any forklift issues to the direct supervisor.
- Load and unload trucks as instructed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect all products for any defects or damage while loading or unloading
- Record and report any discrepancies or any irregularities to the Plant Manager.
- Ensure full pallets of products are properly secured.
- Move finished products from the equipment lines to designated finished goods holding areas.
- Coordinate and report any product movement in terms of storage location for raw materials and finished goods.
- Complete any shipping documents as required.
- Support packaging and production as required.
- Coordinate with third party logistics provider for pick up, loading and delivery.
- Perform the month end finished goods inventory count.
- Support the movement and control of all raw, semi-finished, and finished goods materials throughout the plant.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent.
- Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is considered an asset.
- Forklift Certification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment would be an asset.
- Great attention to detail with the ability to be accurate and thorough.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
- Understanding of QMS (Quality Management System) as they relate to this position.
- Experience with Oracle ERP or other ERP systems is considered an asset.
