Irrigation Technician/technicien Irrigation

**Position Summary**

Groupe Magier is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our quickly expanding team. Our irrigation teams are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems and irrigation equipment. This position will work with a team of technicians to ensure that our irrigation system installs run smoothly and that existing systems function properly.

**Essential Functions**:

- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation systems
- Operate various types of irrigation equipment including sprinkler systems, drip pans, and water pumps
- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation system(s) including cleaning valves, hoses, pumps, etc.
- Perform general landscaping duties as assigned by Plant Operator or Project Manager
- Maintain records of work performed and estimated completion dates to ensure timely completion of projects. Keep work area clean and organized.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Work with company vehicles and equipment as needed
- Other duties as assigned by Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager

**Education & Experience**:

- Previous landscaping experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of irrigation systems including install, maintenance and repair not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects & materials (30+ lbs.)
- Ability to safely operate company vehicle in all weather conditions
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record (preferred)
- Additional duties as assigned by Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager

**Salary**
- Salary is based on experience.
- Commission is available for any refferals.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
