**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food handling and safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and utensils in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently managing multiple tables during peak hours.

**Qualifications**
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service and hospitality.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and guest check processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
