Are you a solid graphic designer with a wide-ranging skillset? Do you have QSR/restaurant experience? We want to hear from you The Creative Design Specialist will play a critical role on MBI Brands’ international Marketing and Creative team, reporting to the Creative Director. This role will be primarily responsible for ideation and production of print/digital/video content for our growing family of premiere QSR brands, including Mary Brown’s Chicken and Fat Bastard Burrito.

**Essential functions**
- Ideate, lead and complete assigned design projects within established brand standards and style guide for online or offline content including, not limited to print, digital, social, and in-store materials. Own and manage projects from concept development to completion or pick up and adapt existing projects.
- Develop additional, proactive creative concepts for marketing initiatives.
- Work independently or be collaborative with the creative team for special projects as required.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that places a premium on ideas, creativity and innovation.
- Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to deliver projects on time.
- Get detailed information for all new projects prior to conception of the creative process.
- Ideate concepts by studying the information, design briefs, understanding requirements and materials.
- Manage other creative needs required by MBI Brands (presentations, signage, web graphics, etc.)
- Ensure that material developed meets deadlines and strictly adheres to 3rd party vendor or platform specs.
- Contribute to team discussions and brainstorm in a positive way that adds value to strategies and final results.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- MINIMUM 3 years of proven graphic design experience in an in-house or design studio environment.
- A strong portfolio showcase actual in-market work. Student portfolios and spec work will not be considered.
- QSR experience (client or agency side) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with international brands and coordinating/versioning/translating creative is a major asset.
- Excellent photo retouching skills.
- Strong proficiency with typography, layouts, and printing processes.
- Fluency with Adobe CC - PS/AI/ID/AE/PR.
- Strong organizational and asset management habits.
- Video editing, motion graphics, and photography skills are strong assets.
- Web design/Wordpress/CMS, and basic understanding of HTML/CSS are strong assets.
- Ability to think strategically; problem solve and adapt to challenging situations/projects.
- Mature, professional judgment and professionalism in handling all matters.
- Strong command of the English language. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to proofread and catch errors. Additional language fluency is an asset.
- Highly meticulous, with attention to detail and uncompromising adherence to delivery specs/formats.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and work proactively to meet deadlines.
- Must be positive, proactive and a self-starter with the ability to strategically develop on-brand ideas and creative.

**Education / Certification
- Completion of a college degree or university in a related field, preferably design.
