**Job Title**: QA/QC Specialist **Location**: Near North Battleford, SK **Employment Type**: Full Time The QA/QC Specialist ensures on-site quality control for all aspects of construction projects, upholding the highest safety and quality standards. This role requires strict adherence to specifications, regulations, and best practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Oversee and manage quality control and assurance processes for all construction phases. - Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system, ensuring adherence to schedules and standards. - Conduct audits and inspections, addressing non-conformance issues promptly while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - Ensure compliance with safety policies and quality procedures, providing regular updates to the Superintendent. - Support incident investigations and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation. - Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and contractors. **Qualifications** - Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction quality management. - Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, procedures, and safety protocols. - Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. - Valid safety certifications (e.g., First Aid & CPR, CSTS, WHMIS) and a provincial driver’s license. **Personal Attributes** - Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic. - Effective problem solver, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks. - Demonstrates "Humble Pride," "Fierce Resolve," and accountability. - Embraces change and seeks creative opportunities. **Working Conditions** - Majority of time spent on-site in various locations, often in outdoor and variable weather conditions. - Physical ability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs and navigate construction environments, including heights and confined spaces. - Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary. **How to Apply**: **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Housing allowance - Life insurance - On-site parking - Vision care Schedule: - Day shift - Weekends as needed **Education**: - AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) **Experience**: - QA/QC Commercial construction: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
