**Digital Brand Copywriter (English), Garage & Dynamite**

Reporting to the Brand leads for Garage and Dynamite, the Brand Copywriter is responsible for writing English copy for the brands’ digital channels. They must create copy that is continually optimized to deliver on business goals and that reflects the existing tone of voice of each brand.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Complete technical briefs for all copy, including site links, fine print, and segmentation directives;
- practices;
- Coordinate with the internal Translation department to secure French translation;
- Participate in editorial and content approval meetings led by the marketing team;
- Develop effective relationships and partnerships with the marketing, product, creative, ecommerce and CRM teams, gaining feedback and approvals on digital content in a timely manner to meet publishing deadlines;
- Perform ongoing competitive, pop culture and linguistic trend research.

**To qualify for this role, you must have...**
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field;
- 2+ years of related work experience;
- Retail and/or fashion experience an asset;
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; intermediate understanding of written and verbal communication in French an asset
- Strong understanding of content optimization and best practices;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite;Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
