**1 ‑ Full Time ‑ Director, Diagnostic Imaging & Pharmacy Services**

**Diagnostic Imaging Administration**

Reporting to the Vice President Clinical Services, Quality & Corporate Affairs, the Director, Diagnostic Imaging and

Pharmacy Services, provides strategic direction for the development and operation of the both programs in support

of the overall mission and vision of the Hospital. The Director sets service goals and objectives, securing and

managing resources and directing operational activities. The Director in collaboration with Department Chiefs,

Medical Program Directors and Leads will be accountable for pharmacy and diagnostic imaging services through

their management teams and oversee day‑to‑day operations to support access to diagnostic imaging and pharmacy

services to meet the needs of Northwestern Ontario patients and clinical service needs.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:

- Regulated Health Professional with a clinical background in Diagnostic Imaging/Pharmacy.
- Master's degree in health sciences or business/health administration (or equivalent combination of management

training and clinical experience) preferred
- 8‑10 years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital or related health care environment, some of which

should include management/leadership experience within medical imaging, pharmacy or diagnostic services

Skills/Abilities:

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of quality improvement methodology, leadership, and change

management/transformation theory required to effectively lead change in a large and complex organization
- Excellent knowledge of the diverse patient populations that experience the various forms of treatment and care at

TBRHSC
- Knowledge of quality improvement, financial practices, and risk management principles and ability to benchmark

key performance indicators for services and costs
- Planning and performance management skills with strong clinical and business acumen to advance clinical service

efficiencies.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse professionals

Assets:

- Demonstrated leadership in large change management initiatives
- Knowledge of safe medication and diagnostic imaging clinical practices and services in compliance to Colleges and

Accreditation Standards

Salary Range: $72.018 to 84.728
