The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging will provide leadership in the provision of high quality, cost effective
diagnostic imagining services to the inpatients and outpatients of the hospital in keeping with the standards and
legislation relating to diagnostic imagining practice. The Manager will also be responsible for managing the work
of the Technologists, Nurses and Clerks of the program.

**Key Activities and Responsibilities: **

Together with senior leaders, directors, managers and physicians, provide leadership to the diagnostic
imaging department through active collaboration and inter-professional partnerships with internal and
external stakeholders.

Management Team in order to meet OH, MOHLTC accountabilities and wait time strategies.

Providing leadership to create and maintain practice environments that support a culture of safety and
continuous quality improvement in partnership with staff, patients, and families.

Allocating, overseeing, and monitoring all physical, human and financial resources, and anticipating
future changes that will affect service delivery.

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities**:
Masters Degree with progressive leadership and or an Undergraduate Degree with a suitable
combination of progressive years of experience is required.

Minimum three (3) years of recent management experience required.
Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario is

preferred.

Knowledge of legislation affecting Radiation, Nuclear and MRI practice & safety is required
Demonstrated leadership experience and skills/abilities to work with teams of varied disciplines.
Demonstrated experience as a clinical operations leader; committed to the continuous improvement of

high quality standards the program requires.

Experience at a management level with ability to lead transitions with teams.
Excellent demonstrated communication and reporting skills (oral and written).
Experience in a Diagnostic Imaging setting is an asset.
Must be able to function independently and as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Criminal Reference Check including the Vulnerable Sector Check recent within six (6) months is a requirement
