Pharmacy Assistant

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and assist with stock management
- Support medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and medication management
- Perform routine clerical tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining cleanliness in the pharmacy area
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare providers
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols
