Knox Mechanical, a division of The Knox Contracting Group, is currently looking for a highly driven and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. Our locally owned, fast paced commercial/residential plumbing and heating company is rapidly growing and seeking enthusiastic go-getters, who loves a challenge and collaborating with others.

We are seeking the right individual with a strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing/gas fitting to take the lead on our new Plumbing Division.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and install plumbing and heating systems for commercial and residential projects
- Leadership: ability to lead a small to mid-sized group
- Communicate with internal staff to ensure expectations of jobs are followed through with, actioned, documented, and managed throughout the entirety of the project life cycle
- Take ownership and accountability of assigned projects and scope

**Skill and Qualification**
- Three to five years of plumbing experience in a leadership role.
- Experience in new construction, renovations, and commercial work.
- Strong knowledge of local and BC plumbing codes
- Strong technology skills: ability to use a computer and smart phone to learn new software
- Strong attention to detail, ability to spot deficiencies and an eye for quality.
- Ability to both work independently and lead/work with the team
- Ability to anticipate workflow needs and follow through with mínimal direction
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with trades, subcontractors, and internal staff
- Must have a valid driver’s license

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
