Are you looking to start or grow your career in sales within the steel industry? Sureway Metal Systems Ltd. is seeking a Junior Inside Sales Associate to join our Galvanizing team in Calgary. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, build customer relationships, and gain technical knowledge in Hot Dip Galvanizing while supporting both inside and occasional outside sales activities.

**Responsibilities**:
**Sales & Customer Development**:

- Assist with prospecting and following up on potential new clients and sales opportunities.
- Support ongoing contact with current and past customers, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
- Build rapport with clients and encourage the setup of credit accounts for smoother transactions and future follow-up.

**Order Processing & Coordination**:

- Learn and become proficient with Sureway’s internal sales and inventory system (SYSPRO) and MS Office tools.
- Write up internal work orders and process them through the Galvanizing Plant.
- Redirect fabrication or warehouse material requests to the appropriate Inside Sales or Estimating team.

**Quoting & Negotiation**:

- Prepare and provide customer estimates for galvanizing projects.
- Assist in negotiating terms and pricing with customers under the guidance of senior team members.

**Industry Knowledge & Growth**:

- Attend internal meetings to stay informed on sales direction, focus, and customer needs.
- Participate in occasional outside sales calls/visits with customers as needed.

**Other Duties**:

- Support the sales and estimating team with administrative and follow-up tasks.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development (industrial/manufacturing experience an asset but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to learn technical specifications related to Hot Dip Galvanizing.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience (such as SYSPRO) is an asset.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow in a sales career.
