**General Description**:Requires a person who is reliable and can ensure that standards around people, product, cleanliness and exceptional guest experience are fulfilled.

**Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10PM to 7AM (overnight)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Cultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration.
- Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.
- People management leading by example
- Reacts immediately to issues requiring attention
- Provides ongoing, specific direction to team members
- Trains, orientates and monitors new team members
- Reports to managers team member performance
- Assists in ensuring optimal team member coverage at all times and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels through demonstrated floor leadership.
- Hospitality management: leads by example to demonstrate that the guest is top priority and reinforces positivity
- Responds to guest in a friendly manner while maintaining an appropriate sense of urgency
- Responds to guest service situations in a positive manner
- Operations management: displays knowledge of and works in compliance with applicable legislation
- Complies with and enforces all GDI operating standards
- Supervises team members to ensure primary and secondary duties are completed
- Keeps current on all new information
- Monitors for, responds to and reports to manager about unsafe acts and conditions
- Completes all required shift documentation (ex. Records waste, mgs. Walk thru, pre-rush checklist)
- Escalates to manager any issues and or problems

**Qualifications**
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- Previous supervisory experience within the cleaning industry is preferred.
- Understanding of health and safety issues
- **Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.**_
