**The Opportunity**

The Waterjet Operator will work at our welding shop located our secondary location in Abbotsford, BC. They will be required to complete various waterjet related tasks on the production team.

No waterjet experience needed, we will train you

FTE at 40 hours per week.

**The Qualifications**
- Ability to understand engineered drawings.
- Ability to use basic measuring and basic hand tools.
- Computer literacy and ability to work with computers is required.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
- Be willing to learn and retain knowledge and adapt.
- Previous waterjet operation experience considered an asset.

**The Role and Responsibilities**
- Operate a Water Jet cutting machine.
- Provide basic machine adjustments and maintenance (C.N.C programming).
- Review and interpret part drawings to ensure accuracy and quality of waterjet items.
- Set up machines for efficient production, load material and programs.
- Check parts produced to ensure they meet specifications.
- Safely operate production equipment.
- Troubleshooting equipment problems
- Responsible for maintaining and cleaning machines before and after use.
- Other duties as assigned
