We have an exciting opportunity in our Maintenance department for a **Machine Operator. **The machine operator will be responsible to ensure smooth production during operation times in our Live End/Evis production area.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor loading and unloading of mods and drawers through the live end system
- Watch for drawers sticking or jamming in the system
- Watch for mods jamming on the conveyor
- Monitor the pushing of the drawers on the transfer
- Monitor the scissor lift operation
- Inspect drawers and mods prior to loading on the system to eliminate potential jamming
- When running turkey your main job is to watch for turkey heads getting stuck or pinched at the drawer
- transfer point.
- In the event that any of the above occurs, your responsibility is to hit the red emergency stop button
- The main PLC panel and radio for maintenance

**Requirements**:

- Some knowledge of plant equipment, proper maintenance procedures and principles of operation
- Ability to study and understand operating and maintenance manuals, mechanical ability.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and users of equipment
- Basic skill in the use and care of tools, machinery, and equipment of the electrical and mechanical trades
