**Job Title**:Production Planner

**Location**:Woodstock Ontario, Canada

We are a North American leader in the design and manufacturing of high-end, quality industrial machinery.

Reporting to the Shop Floor Supervisor, we have an immediate need for a Production Planner. The key aspect of this role is supporting the Production department, working within and understanding the production process, plant procedures, equipment capabilities and flow of goods within the facility.

You will be the point of contact between the Sales Division and Manufacturing regarding build Lead time requests in addition to assisting with the master build plan for all machines for both our Canada and US locations.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create Machine planned orders in system and Production orders as required
- Manage Machine Change Orders as requested by Sales division.
- Update Runsheet Planning Information as required
- Maintain ERP forecast including Machine Option %
- Create and distribute shortage reports based on machine production order requirements.
- Gather finished Production Orders from each plant and ensure the PDO has been accurately confirmed and close production orders
- Gather Critical Parts list from Assemblers and maintain Master Shortage list.
- Rescheduling of orders based on build plan

**Additional areas of responsibilities include**:

- Assist with inventory discrepancies and shortages based on SAP reports
- Collects data for monthly KPIs
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies between book and physical inventory quantities; recommends corrective actions to avoid similar errors in the future.
- Participate in year-end inventory.

**Qualifications**:
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in ERP systems, SAP (S4 Hana) an asset

Strong MS Excel

Minimum of 2 years previous manufacturing production and inventory control experience

Post-secondary education in Business or Manufacturing recommended
