Vehicle Scheduler

Wills Transfer Limited, Brockville Division

(Working out of the Shell Lube Plant
- C521)

Position Summary:
Live and promote Wills Transfer Limited’s Purpose and Values as guiding principles in leading and managing the business:
Wills Transfer Limited is currently seeking one full-time persons to work out of our client’s facility at 250 Laurier Blvd. in Brockville. This position is a “safety sensitive” position and it has several functions including but not limited to: working with Shell’s SAP software program and working directly with Bulk care customers, inventory and cycle counting and assisting other staff as required;
The proposed hours for the position will be Days (7-3) Monday to Friday. There is an expectation that overtime will be required during peak times and to cover vacations or sickness. Please note, Wills Transfer reserves the right to change work hours to accommodate business requirements.

Bulk Vehicle Scheduler Functions/responsibilities: The primary job functions related to this position are outlined below:

- Understand and be able to articulate and manage Shell’s life saving rules.
- Document control; (Bills of Lading and Pro Forma) with a high degree of quality and competence.
- Use Shell’s SAP software program to perform various transactions as it relates to the

Vehicle Scheduler role.
- Rail fleet management including scheduling of finished good railcars to customers
- Customer Pick-up (CPU) truck loading schedule, planning and co-ordination
- Truck Loading compartment sheet creation, daily, identifying all parameters for Bulk

Operations to plan and load the truck successfully
- Inbound base oil and additive management, tracking and ticketing
- Inbound finished good co-ordination with planning and other plants
- Manage demurrage charges and communicate here challenges exist
- Able to perform and return accurate inventory cycle counts.
- Safe and precise operating practices.
- Take initiative and participate in safety training and Toolbox Talks.
- Understand and follow the Warehouse work process. No workarounds/shortcuts.
- Ensure that the workplace is always kept clean and safe.
- Report any and all safety concerns to your warehouse manager.
- Demonstrate flexibility/adaptability in the work and work schedule in support of business needs.
- Strive to continuously improve capabilities to do higher quality work.

Mndatory Requirements:

- Computer experience with SAP, warehouse management systems experience an asset.
- Must pass Wills and Shells mandatory HSSE orientation and screening processes. This includes pre-employment drug testing, eyesight
- 3-month probationary period

Compensation:
Very competitive wage and benefit package.

Education / Work Experience:
A high school education is required with proficiency in Math and English. Experience in a warehouse setting would be an asset.
