**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Lead Sales Associate will work as an integral part of our Squamish Team to perform general operations and merchandising duties as required. This position will report to the Assistant Store Manager and work very closely with our Customer Experience Team. The primary goal of this role is to ensure fluid operations of the store while delivering an all-around excellent experience, as the face of XMarket Squamish. The Lead Sales Associate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Performing all types of transactions with customers
- Helping and supporting in-store events
- Assisating with picking and packing customer orders
- Scanning goods and collecting payments using our POS system
- Reconciling cash at the end of the day
- Stocking shelves and bagging items carefully
- Greeting customers when entering or leaving the establishment
- Pleasantly dealing with customers to ensure their satisfaction
- Resolving customer complaints, guiding them and providing relevant information
- Maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas
- Receiving products from Suppliers and scanning items into the system

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to provide professional customer service
- Ability to stay organized and set priorities
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
- Must be reliable and punctual
