Little Steps Therapy Services is a collaborative team of professionals who have been providing therapeutic services to the children and youth of Greater Victoria for over 14 years. Our center is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and offers a relaxed and comfortable working environment.

We are currently seeking Behaviour Interventionists to join our multi-disciplinary team.

The role of the Behavioural Interventionist is to provide their assigned clients with individualized intervention, based on the therapeutic programs developed by the child's clinical team. Interventionists will work alongside other Interventionists who will provide support and guidance. Interventionists will allow also work directly with the Clinical Team to ensure programming is being carried out effectively.

Interventionist will be provided with on-site training as well as on-going training opportunities.
**Duties**
- Establish rapport with assigned client and families.
- Support the client in their natural environment (daycare, home etc.) as well at our center
- Work in collaboration with the clinical team to carry out therapeutic programs
- Report relevant observations and thoughts to the clients clinical team.
- Collect required data throughout intervention sessions
- Use materials and resources provided to create a fun and enriched learning environment for the clients of Little Steps.

**Responsibilities**
- Utilize constructive feedback from team members
- Report to the Supervisor of Intervention Services for issues related to the position
- Provide feedback to the Supervisor as requested
- Engage in professional behaviour at all times
- Participate in training opportunities made available to all employees of the organization
- Be able to drive client/ clients if needed to and from appointment.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a valid Drivers license and have the ability to drive clients as needed
- Have a clear Criminal Record
- A minimum of 2 years experience working with children
- Priority given to those with experience working with children diagnosed with ASD.

**Compensation**
- Paid hourly $20-24
- Extended Health Benefits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10-35 per week

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
