About the Position:
The Behaviour Interventionist (BI) and/ or tutor provides direct teaching to neurodivergent learners.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- The BI must be comfortable working independently in a variety of settings (e.g., in their home, preschool, out-of-school care program, library or out in the community). Travel within greater Victoria and western communities is a part of this role.
- The BI will carefully implement programming that has been created by a multidisciplinary team (e.g., Behaviour Analyst, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech & Language Pathologist).

Experience/Education:

- Post-secondary education in a related field (Psychology, ECE, Child and Youth Care, Social Services, Special Education Assistant).
- Experience working with children or youth.
- Basic computer skills and access to a computer.
- Background in ABA or tutoring services (beneficial but not required).

**Requirements**:

- Must be 19 years or older.
- Valid BC Drivers Licence and vehicle.
- Clear criminal record check with the vulnerable sector (provided).
- First aid & CPR (provided).
- Trauma-informed training (provided).

Compensation:

- $20-22 per hour.
- MANDT Training.
- First Aid.
- Five paid sick days.
- Partial coverage of travel costs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
