As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Chiropodist will provide foot care services within the scope of their license. The care modality emphasizes health promotion and client education. The Chiropodist serves clients receiving services from the Trotters Edge Chiropody inc.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform clinical duties by assessing clients for routine foot health and illness care, treating, and preventing disease, dysfunction or disorders of the foot by therapeutic, surgical, palliative or orthotic means, as well as prescribing medications within the scope of the license.
- Ensure appropriate, comprehensive treatment is delivered by maintaining complete and accurate documentation in the electronic medical records system; participating in chart reviews and discussions of problem cases; and answering client enquiries and providing the appropriate treatment.
- Implement, and evaluate chiropody services. (i.e. provide services to clients experiencing barriers; offer number of follow-up visits, follow timely discharge process and procedure for clients, etc.)
- Implement workflow processes (i.e. health outcome data, alignment of documentation practices, etc.)
- Ensure chiropody areas, resources, materials, and equipment are maintained.
- Identify areas where the development of protocols and procedures are needed to improve client services.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate of an accredited school of Chiropody or Podiatry
- Current registration with and member in good standing of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
- The ability to communicate in a second language relevant to clients living in and Mississauga is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $100.00-$150.00 per hour
