Erin Mills Optimum Health is a long-established, multidisciplinary wellness clinic located in the heart of Mississauga. For over 40 years, our team of chiropractors, naturopaths, massage therapists, and other wellness professionals has been dedicated to helping our patients achieve optimal health through compassionate, evidence-informed care.

We are seeking a dedicated Chiropodist to join our healthcare team and take over a turn-key practice from a retiring practitioner. The Chiropodist will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of foot and lower-limb conditions. The ideal candidate is caring, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive foot and lower-limb assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as nail disorders, skin conditions, biomechanical issues, and foot pain.
  • Perform routine and specialized foot care, including nail and callus care, orthotic assessments, and minor procedures.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and patient education strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (physiotherapists, physicians, etc.) when necessary.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and infection-prevention standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Chiropody / Podiatric Medicine from an accredited institution.
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO) or relevant provincial regulatory body.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Experience with orthotic assessment and gait analysis is an asset.
  • Compassionate bedside manner and a commitment to patient-centered care.
