**About the Role**
We’re looking for a Truck Driver to join our team and help take Southland Trailers to the next level. In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that works together to drive innovation, quality, and success. If you’re a self-starter who loves challenges, we want to hear from you
In this role you will be on the road Monday to Friday, (potential weekends with paid daily rates), 40 - 55 hours/week, 3000 - 4500 km per week, delivering our trailers to various dealers and picking up raw material on the return trip when available.
**What We're Looking For**
- Valid Class 1 License for 2 or more years (Insurance requirement)
- 2 ore more years of documented driving experience (Claims Experience Letter)
- Ability to drive manual and automatic
- Accident/Ticket free drivers abstract
- Proficient in English spoken and written
- Ability to focus attention on details of the job and maintain an efficient pace
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work long hours
- Loader experience
- Must present a professional appearance

**What You'll Do**
- Oversee loading/Unloading of product
- Strap down and properly secure loads
- Conduct pre-trip equipment inspections daily
- Complete all trip reports as per company and industry requirements
- Delivers/picks up multiple loads weekly
- Communicates with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning and pickup
- Laisse with clients on site as required ensuring satisfaction of delivery.
- Follow company safety policy as all related industry regulations
- Report all incidents, near misses and hazards
- Be a safety role model
