**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport waste product to various locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts, hi-hoe and other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients.
- Perform basic automotive and mechanical repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic repair tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
