**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK**

We are currently seeking a seasoned, self-motivated Accounts Payable Associate who is hands on and committed with a “can do” attitude to join our team located in downtown Montreal. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:
In this position, you will perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that books are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
- Process inventory and non-inventory related invoices received, including expense reports
- Assign coding or GL by analyzing the nature of invoice/expense reports
- Verify that transactions comply with financial procedures
- Prepare and complete weekly payment scheduled by wire, ACH, cheques, and online payments, on a weekly basis
- Ensure debit notes and credit memos are received and processed
- Issue stop or void payments on bank portal
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Maintain vendor creation and updating vendor information
- Perform other related accounts payable duties, as need arises

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- MS Office (Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of NetSuite an asset
- Experience with AP Automation tool
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English essential
- Excellent communication skills, initiative, organized, sense of teamwork, self-starter
- Minimum 3-5 years previous related experience
- GST/QST knowledge required
- Able to prioritize and manage workloads while maintaining tight deadlines
- Handle pressure well and multi-task
