Our Learning Specialists play an impactful role in designing and developing effective learning solutions for employees and leaders, specifically our Sales professionals. They conduct needs assessments of the Federated Insurance Sales organization and provide recommendations to meet the overall learning strategy and business goals. They support various employee development programs across the organization, with a focus on administering a Learning Management System (LMS) as well as partnering with 3rd party training providers.
This position will be integral to implementing and evaluating all existing and future training & educational content - ensuring the effectiveness of programs in addressing performance gaps and department requirements. The Learning Specialist will collaborate in the design and development of Federated learning solutions using modern adult-learning techniques. You will also establish evaluation measures to monitor the effectiveness of the training objectives and transfer of knowledge, skills and behaviors.

**You’re great at**:
- Thinking strategically, evaluating problems, and developing solutions
- Working with mínimal supervision and the ability to own & execute multiple projects at the same time
- Creating tailored solutions for technical, functional, and soft skills training
- Building relationships and collaborating within a high performing team
- Supporting facilitation in a corporate environment with large, diverse audiences
**You have**:
- A Bachelors’ degree in Adult Education or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate, Vyond, Adobe and other video-creation software
- Experience with virtual classroom software, i.e. MS Teams, Adobe Connect and WebEx/Live Meeting
- Bilingualism and Sales training are assets
